The Journey Continues - Fellside at 40

By Various

Format: CD-Audio

In 2016 Fellside Recordings, a leading independent specialist record company, celebrates 40 years in business. Founded in 1976 by Paul and Linda Adams it is still run by them and between the various labels it has released 600 albums. The first label was Fellside, a Folk/Acoustic/Roots label and it is that which forms the basis of the triple album (for the price of one) compilation. There are 57 tracks including some previously unissued material. Fellside and its artists have won many awards over the years and launched the careers of musicians such as leading songwriter, Jez Lowe, Nancy Kerr & James Fagan, Bellowhead founders John Spiers and John Boden and, more recently, Greg Russell & Ciaran Algar. The compilation includes tracks by Russell & Algar as well as other leading Folk artists like Lucy Ward, Ewan McLennan, John Kirkpatrick, The Hut People, and many others.
