Irene Scobbie

Carola Hansson is one of Sweden's leading contemporary women writers. Her fiction includes The Dreamt Child, Andrej, about one of Leo Tolstoy's sons and, most recently, A Complaisant Man. Her work has been awarded the Lundequist Literary Prize, the Bonnier Prize, the Swedish Academy Prize and the Svenska Dagbladet Prize. She lives in Uppsala, Sweden.
