Anne Dulau

Anne Dulau studied at Toulouse Le Mirail Universite and St Andrews University, graduating with an MPhil in Anglo-Saxon History in 1995 and a postgraduate diploma in Museum and Gallery Studies in 1996. She has been curator of French and British Art at The Hunterian since 1997. Contributions to catalogues accompanying exhibitions include Intimate Friends; The Scottish Colourists at The Hunterian Art Gallery and The Fleming Collection (2003); Les Colouristes Ecossais, edition Somogy (2004); My Highest Pleasures; William Hunter's Art Collection (2007), Boucher & Chardin: Masters of Modern Manners (2008) and Allan Ramsay Portraits of the Enlightenment (2013). Meeting Duncan Shanks in 2008, she has been working with the artist for the last 6 years, gathering information around his sketchbooks and their use.
